In the 1970's, pre Star Wars era, there was a television station in Boston, Massachusetts which broadcast  "monster films" of all kinds called Creature Double Feature and was broadcast on WLVI channel 56, thus this is where this title comes from for my blog which is about, you guessed it, monster movies. Well the blog will have more than just cheesy science fiction monster movies from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. The blog will have all of those films in review plus some ,up to and including, current films such as high budget films from Hollywood and beyond and some television shows of the genre.
    Sci Fi will not be alone here but I will include horror, some fantasy and maybe a little comedy as well. The blog is meant to be fun but also show you films that have may been forgotten in recent years or films that where thought to be just trash but really deserve a second chance to see what the film really is about.
    I would also like from time to time include lost to the memory or have yet discovered television shows from the past or internet shows from places like Hulu and Netflix.
    Why science fiction, fantasy, horror? Because this is what I grew up with for one thing. Another is that in these formatted stories anything is possible and anything can happen. I actually hope with this blog that people who are not interested in these genres will be because great fiction can hold all sorts of social possibilities for change and thought, plus science fiction/fantasy/horror is just plain fun.
